Nightlife in Moscow

Not only is Moscow the official capital of Russia, it’s also been dubbed the capital of Russia’s nightlife. The night clubs are many, with more springing up almost every day, with a plethora of music categories. From techno to rock’n’roll, from glamorous parties to underground ones – the choice is yours.  In Moscow, the entrance to most clubs is free, but dress code is everything. So before you step out to some of the fancy clubs, make sure to trade in your sneakers for a nice pair of heels and best get rid of those shorts, if you’re a guy. Now that you’re in the glamorous mode, get ready to party like a Russian!

Gipsy

One of the most popular nightclubs in Moscow was opened as the first Gipsy restaurant in the city and it quickly has become a favorite spot among fashionistas. By the way,  the audience here is diverse, from students and youth to office managers and oligarchs, as well as the music which varies from techno to Russian, British and American rock. Inside, there is a bright dance floor with a lot of disco balls, sunbeds and hammocks on the veranda and the main attraction is a real pool. But what you’ll like most of all about this place is a good bar and kitchen menu with reasonable prices! A dinner with cocktails costs here about  27$. And apart from the immense dance floor inside the club, Gipsy also has a large outdoor terrace covered with artificial grass that can accommodate over 300 guests.

Book tables in advance on weekends.
