Samarskaya Square

Railway station skydeck

The building itself is one of Samara’s highlights, being the tallest station in Europe (101 meters with the spire). Its viewing deck is an open terrace at the 18th floor level, revealing a magnificent city panorama with the Volga’s left tributary and railway bridge.

Waterfront with the
“Boat”

Don’t miss a chance to see one of Samara’s modern symbols – the snow-white stela of an ancient Russian boat on a steep slope with terraces descending to the river. Ideal spot to embrace the beauty of Russia’s longest embankment.

In Alto restaurant

Located on the seventh floor of Renaissance Samara hotel, this restaurant is a winning all-in-one combination: a magnificent view of the river, romantic atmosphere, a diverse Mediterranean menu, live Italian music. In Alto is a true treasure for admirers of views and excellent cuisine.

Helicopter landing site

A former landing site, it is now open to the public as a modern little park with flowerbeds, a mini waterfall, and benches to relax on and enjoy the beautiful view over the river bend, some islands, the Zhiguli and Sokol mountains, and the Zhigulevskie gates. Drop by a local coffee shop or bar to get your breath back after all these views.
