Ilya Bunin — the award-winning bartender behind this chic vintage joint is also a theatrical director and a Hemingway fan, no wonder he took such a creative and detailed approach when putting together his very own bar in Ekaterinburg.
The 1930s atmosphere is recreated with wood, massive sparkling chandeliers, vintage glass, typewriters and old cameras, soft light and appropriate jazz.
Everyone will find something to love about Bunin Bar. The most notorious introverts can enjoy the privacy of the VIP zone. The most outgoing party animals can try out their bartending skills on the other side of the bar counter, cook up a storm in the kitchen or express their mood behind the piano. Mixology masterclasses, live jazz and acoustic concerts are all part of the entertainment program as well.
The bar menu lists over 200 varieties of classic cocktails as well as original and molecular recipes. Here are a few examples to give you an idea: Rhett Butler (brandy, sugar syrup, lemon fresh, ≈$6), Elizabeth Bennett (brandy, Nutella, walnut syrup and egg yolk, ≈$5.5) and Scarlett O’Hara (Bacardi, infusion, liqueur, lime fresh, egg white, sugar syrup, ≈$7).
